To care for your Vesta Homes wooden products, simply wash in warm soapy water, wipe excess water off with a dry towel, and avoid soaking or leaving water on the wood during drying, as this may result in warping over time. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher. Rejuvenate and protect your board by rubbing it down with any Natural Oil (Mustard, Coconut, etc.) once a week. Regular application of Natural Oil will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colors of the wood. If the surface becomes "bumpy," you can simply use a high-grit sandpaper to smooth it out and oil it again to bring it back to new.
